Or not. Anyway, this was a fun action-packed read with lots of badass fighting/chasing and a surprising amount of steam given the bleak world these characters inhabit. There were some really nicely crafted scenes and the action in particular is well done. Overall I really liked it and wouldn't mind reading the sequel and beyond, if for no other reason than because I think her world is a neat idea and I dig post apocalyptic stories.

I have to say, though, this trend in young adult literature of making every romantic subplot a love triangle between two differently-hot guys is getting slightly tiresome. This book handles that alright, better than most even, but it's still present *shrugs*.

Anyway I think this book did fairly well on release - did anyone else check it out?
