I saw it in the theater but sadly me oh-too-good memory kept remembering the trailer at stupid moments (like oh, this woman is about to get sucked off the cliff, etc).
Whats the alternate ending anyway? The last 15 mins WAS really really good, I thought the concept was interesting. It was fun guessing 'who dunit' from the previews to the end. Aliens?! FBI?! CIA?! Alien FBI?! =p
The Forgotten
There's one scene in this movie that I literally forgot to breath because I wanted to scream. Its not a horror movie but a definite thriller. I made a point to not read or watch ANYTHING about this movie so when we rented it I was totally surprised. The DVD offers an alternate ending that honestly isn't better. The ending was very good but honestly the entire movie is incredible.
Its about a woman who's son died, but is told that he never existed and everyone...EVERYONE doesn't remember him. Only her. Her companion in the movie lost his daughter and at first but then remembers. Then they're off.
Definitely rent. Gave me the heebie jeebies.

That's the part that took my breath away. You totally saw it coming. Even in the previews. It was just the imagery and what she as saying before they took her. God gave me the chills. The alternate ending is actually almost the same. The theatrical ending is much more dark, more cynistor. In the alternate its a kinder, gentler bad guy. I preferred the darker one.
