Lamb by Christopher Moore

It's been a while since I read this, but it was one of those that stuck with me. The book had an identity crisis, unable to decide whether it was cutting satire or a sweet buddy story or a collection of terrible puns. In spite of that, and the flawed writing, I actually enjoyed this book.

Lamb is the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal, and tells the story of Jesus through the eyes of his best friend. Biff fills in those missing 30 some odd years from the bible with coming of age stories and adventures. It's filled with witty one liners and smart assed good humor.

Anyone else read this one?

Sounds blasphemous. Let's burn it.

PS: Vote Palin 2012!
