Being Human - BBC
Just heard a blurb about this somewhere and was messing with netflix last night and now I got the first disc coming. Looks pretty interesting. I need a new series to watch while I wait for How I Met Your Mother season 5 to fucking come in the mail. Very Long Wait for like months now. Fuckers!

Oh shit, Annie's prequel was creepy as hell.

Watched the first few episodes of that when it first started then kinda forgot about it LoL Seemed like it was okay. Ghost, vampire, and a werewolf all living in the same house, done with typical BBC style.

Ok those prequels are weird compared to how their characters are now. It's a weird dramedy type show so far, but I've only watched the first 3 episodes.
George the werewolf shows a lot of ass.
Annie is goofy as hell, not scary like in her prequel.
Mitchell is hot, in that 'Kyle Evans' or dirty boy kind of way.
Interesting plots they have though. Annie's boyfriend killed her, which she didn't remember, she thought she just fell down the steps. Come to find out, humpty was pushed, yo!
George has problems dealing with his monthly change, comes across a mentor only to find out it was the guy who changed him, and has sex. He's a bit of a nerd.
Mitchell has gone vegetarian, so to speak, after killing a co-worker during sex. Come to find out he turned her...oops. His hunger is constantly trying to get him to kill all sorts of chicks and his creator (who he is estranged) is starting something 'that will change everything - so he had better decide which side he's on'. Mitchell chooses the cattle, I mean humans. Especially after the co-work comes back and fucks with him, literally, but after trying to go cold turkey, goes back to his creator.
So they're all trying to 'be human'. Annie needs to find out why she's lingering. Finding out her bf killed her didn't do it though. I ordered disc 2, I like it so far.

Finished out season 1.
Mitchell/vampire - Came to terms with being a vampire, having a bout of 'i hate yous' for the humans when he gets wrongly accused of being a Pedo. Had to google that, crazy brits. Means Pedophile, but they were spelling it peedos lol. Ends up turning out ok, sort of, when the kid he's accused of trying to molest stands up for him...and then gets killed by crossing the street after being yelled at it by his mother. Mitchell offers the mother a choice and he turns her son for her. He sides with the humans again after he realizes that his vampire pals are farming humans in the basement of their lair (funeral parlor...HAR!) for their blood. He makes a deal with his creator/nemesis to leave Annie/ghost and George/werewolf alone if they duke it out, which of course his creator lies, but the season ends with an interesting confrontation.
George/werewolf - is dating Nina, a nurse at the hospital Mitchell and him work at as orderlies. Has come to terms with being a werewolf, but when Mitchell and his creator have their big fight, it looks like he's running away which upsets Annie who goes on to kick some serious vampire ass with her ghostiness, but really george lures the creator to a different meeting spot and he fights the vampire himself. Queue interesting confrontation.
Annie/ghost - having confronted her killer/fiance' who laughs at her and is a douche...again...she tries to confront his new girlfriend, a girl she knew before, and she finds out that her fiance' had been fucking this chick when Annie was engaged to him. Finally she confronts him with Mitchell and George (as vampire and werewolf) and tells him he's walked off the path by claiming to be god like because he got away with murder. She whispers a secret to him that 'only the dead know' and he goes crazy. George asks what she said, but even Mitchell shakes his head, telling him that he didn't really want to know.
Confrontation/season finale - George confronts Mitchell's creator as a werewolf and there's the obligatory 'if you kill me, you leave that part of your humanity behind' speech. Mitchell and Annie show up, incidentally with Nina (george's nurse girlfriend) and she sees him change. She rushes in, Mitchell goes in to save her, everyone rushes back out and George eats the creator, but recognizes Nina and calms down. Why?
Because he scratched her, which you see in one of the final scenes when she lifts her sleeves and you see his scratch mark from when he pushed her away when he was half turned.
Mitchell, Annie, and George live happily ever after...that is until they cut away to Annie's ex and he's lost his ever living mind, confessing to killing Annie and that she's a ghost with a vampire and werewolf to a psychiatrist (or someone) and this creepy old guy thanks the fiance', walks out, makes a call and says, "we found them".
All in all - pretty good. It's hilarious, raunchy, and has a decent storyline so far. Getting season 2.
