Gen 4/ Daz 4 used by anyone yet?

I have not downloaded the beta (I bought the DAZ3d Advanced a long time ago so not sure if I should bother with this beta yet) mainly due to issues I always seem to have with my databases not setting up correctly and everything becoming a maddening nightmare after any kind of install from them... but I was wondering if anyone has used it yet, and what they think? I really want the Genesis figure thing. Anyway, just was wondering, let me know!

I downloaded but haven't tried it. I know vex did, but she said it was buggy as hell. Plus I'm holding out for the daz4.0 advanced version. I'm not about to pay 70 something bucks for the unicloth conformer thingy - that shit better come standard with the advanced.

See, that's just it. I hope so too, but I'm afraid it won't I'm a plat member, so it's (lol only) only $56, with a 50% off coupon for the rest of June. I have a bad feeling it won't come with it, which is ridiculous. I've also heard it's really buggy, so wanted to check in here. Ugh. the price of a hobby. Wish I was good enough to make money from it lol

One of the people at Daz said by popular demand the Auto-Fit tool will be included with DS4A. Here's the thread: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=165791

I don't think DS4A has a price set yet.

WOOT! thanks for finding that tidbit. Yeah... I too hope it doesn't cost a ton. I think I got 3A for 175. And I thought htat was bad, but I know how much I used to pay for poser lol

I waited to get ds3a until it was for sale at 1.88 =x Only way I even considered switching to Daz, not I use it exclusively. Didn't even bother to install Poser on this new machine.

As a poser user who played with it for 25min I would say it is not terrible. Really what is amazing is the gensis figure. The rest of the application is ok.

Platinum club Daz4adv upgrade goes from 109 to 65 unless I can get it gifted (HI DAD). Think I'm going to wait though - I have the 4beta, but 3adv works fine for me.

I paid $78 for the ds4 pro upgrading from ds3a + advanced figure setup tools bundle. About to install it all...
