Genesis conversion?
Does anyone know (sorry, I have pretty much NO luck finding what I'm looking for on daz forums :( ) if you can take an already created character and some how convert them into the genesis model? Or do I have to remake all my characters to be able to have the 'plus's' that Genesis has? Thanks!

I can't say I've tried to say inject a Sabby morph into a Genesis figure as I do not have any of the V4 morph shapes/packs/whatever for Genesis. I've been wondering this too. It'd be amazing if I could still use all my lovely Gen4 characters with Genesis.

Yeah. I did find one forum discussion about something similiar to this, discussing getting models to resemble other 'old' characters, but they said something about the genesis models not having all the ++ dials. Makes me worried, because I have two series that I have created and use between 6 to 10 models for each that I custom dialed. I really hate to think I'm going to have to recreate them all! :(

I asked on the forums, and sadly, my fears are now confirmed. You can't take an old character and make it Genesis-able without completely remaking the character. If anyone finds out otherwise, PLEASE let me know, because I have, as stated, a lot of created characters that I want to continue being able to use. :( bleh

Well, it's not like you can't continue using daz3da when using your older created models.

Frankly I'm surprised Daz didn't do it in the first place. Then again, no I'm not. Look at all the random fixes other folks have put out that should have been part of updates they were too whatever to be bothered with, like the shoulders looking good in the down position.

Yes, I agree Eve. I was very surprised (at first! lol) they hadn't done it themselves. I would think that would be something they would completely want as an in house thing, but apparently not. Thankfully others out there do care enough to program such things for us! :)

Anyone buy GenX from daz yet? I can't fucking figure out this total piece of shit. I want to transfer my Charlie.dsa morphs to genesis, but it looks like you can only transfer over CR2 files. Or do I even need GenX for a morph created in daz? Shouldn't I be able to use it in genesis already? Probably not, I'm sure.
