Ugh, I don't like Kathryn Heigel or Keigel, whatever her name is. Haven't quite cast Michael Douglas' part yet - Maybe that Emile dude, maybe Gerard Butler. My money is on Gerry.

In the original film, Kathleen Turner plays a romance writer who finds adventure with an American bird exporter (Michael Douglas). The character is on a quest to pay the ransom on her kidnapped sister in South America. Exciting. NBC’s new version will reportedly have some modern tweaks. The female lead will be a “successful but unfulfilled” woman who tackles missions with a handsome adventurer each weekly episode … with an overarching search for her missing brother.
NBC tv series. Because that's a better idea.
