This Halloween season, join us at The Angry Crayon for a costume party themed exchange! Nightmare on TAC Street will be a fairly simple exchange. Maki really hoped her costume didn't catch fire. Usually the whole point of Halloween was kind of lost on her, being the sort of creature that looks ready for said holiday year round, but this year she really wanted to get into the spirit of things. Become someone else for a while, something other than a demon who tended to burn her clothes and go into rages just when she thought she might be fitting in with the other girls. Maybe no one would recognize her. Maybe she could snack on a soul or three without anyone even realizing a demon was among them, a real demon, not one of these harmless pretenders with a pitchfork and fake horns. Maki was willing to give it a chance, anyway; if worse came to worse, she could help keep the bonfire going. Maybe she'd bob for apples - much harder to burst into flames if she were dripping wet.
