:( I need help, please

I bought adv and the genesis stuff that was being offered but honestly I haven't even messed with Genesis yet. I did buy that morph conversion thing over at RMP. Why not post over there? Might be a little helpful - post a link here to it, too, if you do. Wish I could help more.

I haven't bought any of the stuff for Genesis, so I can't even check in my own DS4. :/ Some things (sorry if it's like duh, but thought I'd mention them anyway). Is Show Hidden Properties on? Are they all installed correctly? Do you have ALL selected in the Shaping menu? Do they have to be injected and/or Power Loaded?

I can't believe the Daz forums didn't have any help :/

The daz forums are...weird. I mean, for as many posts as some people have, they're quick to be fucktards. They're super anal about stupid shit like bumping and their search function is pure shit. I've been posting daz4 questions there myself lately and one person got stupid retarded with me for what he called 'being impatient'. Dude had like 20k posts - they ended up locking that thread down because I got belligerent right back to that fucking idiot.

Granted RMP's forums aren't great either. I asked a question about the Genesis conversion program and one guy jumped on me claiming I stole the program. Right, I illegally downloaded it and then posted on the forums where it's sold to ask questions about it. I straight up called him a god damn idiot.

There's a lot of crap in daz4 they haven't added yet but daz3 has - I guess some of the stuff caused some back end issues, but even morph follower is gone - which kind of pisses me the fuck off. Anyway - if you get an answer, I'd love to know.

I totally agree with ya there, Roz. Sometimes it is great to post your q's on the daz forums, then you run into idiots. bleh. And their search function IS complete shit! I'm not great at finding out what I'm looking for most of the time, but I know I'm a hell of a lot better at finding stuff than when using their fucked up search thing.

quick question, to make sure I am installing these things correctly... for the new daz things, such as the stephanie genesis, I install them to the daz4 content manager? or where everything else is installed from my daz3 stuff?

you know what else really pisses me off? Every single readme file is broken that I have downloaded with my files contents. Every single one! How can I even try to figure this out on my own if their readmes are broken?

I just let it go to wherever it defaults to - my library or something, I dunno.

yeah I did that with the new content because I didn't want to run into any big issues LOL see where that got me? I just reinstalled them all again. They show up under hidden, are 'red' compared to the green background of others, and are unuseable. I can't change the parameters at all.

SO I tried to inject the morphs like I would in DAZ3d so I can dial up a character like I always do, and after injecting them, they didn't show up, so that is obviously not what I'm supposed to be doing to get this to work, either.

Did you buy the conversion product on RMP?

not yet, I'm going to do that in a moment, was just feeling like being more of a masochist for whatever reason haha

Okay, another question, and I'm not sure if this is even possible, but then I was thinking that maybe it is how character morphs that I buy actually work.

Anyway (sorry, I ramble!)

Is there a way to get the morphs from a dialed character I have made, some how save them, and then apply them to the genesis figure? All at once, just like I was applying a regular character, like if I bought one from sabby or someone else? If so, how do I do that?

And I apologize if this is not the forum for these questions, you can move them where they belong, sorry!

okay I bought it, and I tried my best to get it to work, but I haven't gotten it to work. Frankly, at this point, I'm beyond fed up and frustrated. I'm crying, I'm pissed off, and I hate people who write tutorials who also built the program because they just ASSUME everyone is just as knowledgeable as they are... I paid a lot of money (to me) for morphs that ARE NOT THERE! and no one at Daz seems to give a fuck. (I need to vent, please no one take any of this personally, I appreciate the help given me).

I'm done. FOrget it. I will just go back to daz3, because at leaset there I knew the layout, it was more user friendly, I HAVE MORPHS!!! so my fucking vic4 doesn't look like some man attempting gender reassignment... UGH! JUST UGH!

I found (I think) the cr2 for victoria 4 like the generations 4 thing said, I uploaded the morphs, transferred them, and they aren't in daz4... I have no idea at all anymore what to do, where to find things, my brain is fried, my databases are probably completely fucked to hell.... and I just.. give up. I give up for now. I'm so upset over some stupid hobby!

They are trying to help, wel the one guy is, but I think I'm just beyond help at the moment, and am plain stupid.

OMG I HAVE MORPHS!!! Now I can learn this damn program, and maybe I can get some info on how to get old character morphs onto genesis figures with that other program I bought (will keep you updated on that, btw) It was something stupid and simple, as things usually are for me. It's a wonder I know how to use a computer at all, apparently. lol (fix is onthe forum link above post has)
