The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss

This would be the other great book of the past few years I've read. Where The Way of Kings appeals more to my need for fantastic stories of epic heroes and great loss/gain - this book is more for the literary minded.

This book is difficult to describe other than to say - it's a true story. A yarn. This is how a story should be told. This is on many top fantasy lists, and now I see why. The Way of Kings I recommend to fantasy lovers, but this book I recommend to anyone that likes to read, or likes stories. It is clearly a fantasy tale, and a good one, but it's so much more. The beauty of this book is in the telling more than the tale.
