You are in fact, pulling a simple act of misdirection - and I applaud you on your effort.

During med school, before I got my second PhD in Philosophy with a focus on Religion and Ethics - I dealt directly with a schizo such as yourself; He became a friend, but often times woud surge out of control and completely change. Later, when he was told what he ahd done he lashed back on those trying to help him, as if they were accussing him of some sacred wrong, when in fact, as doctors we were trying to help him learn to cope.

I unfortunatly am quite busy currently, otherwise I might try to help you, for free of course, work through your issues.

But, like when I left Mars, times are volatile - and when things heat up, tense people often react like an overactive immune system - attacking even healthy cells. I do not hope such is the case currently.

btw, that was not ooc, but hell, I wanted to respond to the allegations but in character. so yeah.

Paranoid? Dude, you're the one who's high, so I doubt you have any room to be talking about paranoia.

The cool thing with this, is that after one of us gets lynched, we are going to be under constant suspision. Meaning if I get lynched, clues will continue to point to you. And if you get lynched, it means that I'm scott free when the SK kills stop. Does that worry you? :)

I didnt think either one was either. I looked thru the character threads and Elvaiz seemed very detached from emotion, especially when dealing with his cat and that he's alone on earth. That's who i ended up voting for, just seemed obvious because it wasn't...that make sense?

I think you're all approaching this a tad diffrent from how I would approach it.

Unless otherwise told, I'm pretty sure that the Townie / Mafia / Serial Killer is picked at random. I believe that our initial character sheets play little in our actual roles. So any first time voting is really just conjecture, and until we get to maybe the next round of killings, then we will be able to form better conclusions or accusations (Drawn from the killing summaries).

So from what I learned we are left with a guessable ratio.

It looks like 15 players (+ one throwaway) So I'd assume 5 Mafia, 1 serial Killer, and 9 townies.

To defend myself, I really wouldn't draw to much from my short introduction (Pertaining to Caitlinn V'Bran). Some people, can be perfectly normal (Ie: Not crazy, not mafia) and live alone. And an obsession with work is nothing new, as I'm sure we all can share stories of workaholics. Secondly, you fail to realize that living in a depopulated planet, one of my technical expertise is in high demand. This means that not only am I offered many amenities others in the field are not offered (on Mars) andI also get payed alot. I don't think its uncommon for anyone to sacrifice a relationship or two for proffesional advancement.

If you think this is "robotic" or mechanical (implying that I am a machine?) then obviously you don't know me. Being cut and dry is me, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had the friends that I did being loud and obnoxious.

To add to this, I'd like to say that T Smiths (aka Rufus Deaner ) Jihad against Geeii (aka Tyler Anderson ) makes me believe that hes either a drama whore, or trying to safe his SK ass by framing Geeii.

I don't think it is random, however I do agree that char background won't dictate roles. I think Veri does it by trying to balance both sides out for a good game and also throws in one or two roles that would be really interesting with char background but nothing obvious.

However, usually the deathscene will leave us subtle clues we can pick up on to try and deduce roles. Honestly the first day there isn't enough to ever know anything for sure (or any day I guess but it gets a little better) so we'll end up hanging someone random. That said I feel a little less guilty voting for someonet hat makes sense instead of someone random so at least I'm voting for in character or game reasons instead of voting for the person.

My personal thought on this now that I think about it is that T Smiths/Rufus is probably NOT the SK, but is a mafia and desperately shifting blame. He probably really feels Geeii is the SK and if not at least make it look like it is. IF he turns out right and can get support and the killings stop when Geeii dies then all blame is swept away from him. I think if he was a townie he would be taken aback at being wrongly accused but not quite this vocally, and he is an experienced player so he knows what he is doing. That being said its all conjecture on my part, and last game I was wrong almost every single time and lynched a ton of innocent people - but hey thats our job!

im not real sure whats going on here. since i cant exactly read the forums from work, i havent been able to watch the events unfold. i dont know when each post was made (and frankly im too lazy to go back and read all the post times) so ill present how it appears to me.

- RUFUS IS NEITHER SERIAL KILLER, NOR MAFIA
i have absolutely no reason to trust rufus. but, he is a seasoned vet at this game. he immediately starts to post and point fingers and defend himself when noone has really accused him (or did they? remember, i didnt get to see the events as they occurred), which makes him look guilty as sin. the fact that his character is a schizophrenic doesnt help much either. then he comes and flat out says "I'm a townie.". i think hes telling the truth, because he knows noone will believe him. then after hes dead and the game is over he can say "ha ha! i told you i was a townie!" yeah, real clever. hes playing us for the fool.

how do we even know there IS a mafia, in-character? all we know from the death scenes is that someone has been murdered. do we (our characters) know that it was done by two separate parties? or is this just something inherant to the game (thus the name "the mafia") and we just assume that our characters know there is a "mafia" involved?

how do i know this? i dont. the incoherent rambling just doesnt seem to fit his character.

in the other thread, madcow just arrived on the scene. i had assumed all the characters had been living in this apartment complex for a while... days? weeks? if the serial killer had been living there for an extended period of time, surely he would have killed sooner. madcow introduces himself to dana. he says he "thinks" something is wrong to have her upset, but hes not sure. hes not sure? THERES A BLOODY BODY ON THE SIDEWALK, PAL. shes fourteen years old. youre damn right theres something wrong. she just witnessed a murder, and theres more to come.

it seems like a far stretch to say 3 paramedics = 3 mafia members, and then to go one further and say the mafia dressed up as paramedics to cart the body off. are these the kinds of clues we usually get? anyways, some people are suspicious to me so far, just from their responses to the death. marcus, or whoever vulashes character is, cursing when he sees the death scene? whats that all about? and jinheim's russian guy, snuffing out cigarettes... ex-russian mafia? its hard to say at this point, especially since im just now reading the threads at 9pm :(

unfortunately i cant have a chance to interact or reply until the evening unless i have the day off work, but im gonna try to play along the best i can ;)

Why would Geeii, an android sympathiser, kill an android? How sure can we be that the lawyer WAS an android. Pondering.

i dont think the lawyer was an adroid at all. i think the serial killer thinks that EVERYONE is an android, and that the androids want to kill him, because he knows... HE KNOWS!!!! AIIEEEEEE!!!! /runs

Well, looks like I'm going to die. Myeh, I've played enough of the game to know when I'm going down, and I also know enough to know that when I go down, to at least cause a little stir. So here we go. Do me a favor and keep tabs on:

Read over their characters very closely. Know those characters very well. It's possible some are townies, it's possible some are not. But those are the ones I want you to pay close attention to.

Well if you do go down you better be in the next game cause you got things kicking on day 1 and that always makes the games better :D (I say this with 1 game experience behind me so you know im' a pro)

Rufus getting the axe makes me sad, but I'm looking forward to your ghost posts!

Myeh, I try to stay away from Ghost posting. I tend to get pissy when I see things and want to tell people. I will watch, though. Just not post.
