Blade Runner Mafia Day 2 Voting

Ok, i keep seeing Tyler, Caitlinn, and Polarn keep going on and on with this anabel stuff, when the majority of their "evidence" is their interpretation of her profile.

But I don't see anyone else going with me on this, so i'm going to have to vote for Jed for all of the janitor/cleanliness/acsess stuff.

I think the death of her mother, the loss of her boyfriend are valid reasons to be, at the very least mafia. I think the voices she hear are dellusions, not psychic ability. I think her 'baby' is contrived as well. I think this ties in with Verileah's story of HOW rufus died. It was a clean death, one from inside. Is the 'baby' growing inside her real or is it her hatred bubbling over for humans?

Unsure of what exactly had become of the local residents, Tyer pondered the situation.

He knew someone here was responcible, call it intuition. He suspected Anabel was more then she seemed, he just couldn't exactly say why....

I am convinced that Jed is the serial killer.

He watches everyone in the building like a hawk. I can sense that the fact he has no pet pains him deeply. I also sense that he has a strong dislike of androids. He may have had a hand in the killing of Rufus as part of the mafia, but I am quite certain he is the SK.

Never trust a janitor. Jed has too much access to the building. He's gotta go.

im completely at a loss here. i havent had much time tonight to read through everything because of RL stuff ive been busy with. so far i see no reason to vote for anyone, so im just gonna vote for Jarvis because Etric has been too quiet and i wanna get a rouse out of him. i might make an in-character representation of my non-votingness, or i might not.

LOL, I get home 30 mins before the deadline and I hafta read everything that was posted! I barely have time to hit send before midnight est lol

Anabel was in suffocating agony. The voices screamed in her ears until all she wanted to do was curl up in a ball on the floor of her apartment and wail helplessly. She lay there, face pressed up against the carpet and knees tucked up to her chest, gulping for breath between shuddering sobs. She mentally begged for the voices to stop, but knew it was useless. Murderous thoughts invaded her mind and pounded through her head relentlessly.

The other neighbors stood in a circle and avoided meeting each other’s eyes. They were discovering as one that their talk was leading them in dangerous directions. Fear of not living through the night was gradually being replaced by doubt and uncertainty. It was one thing to talk about ending the threat, but it was quite another to actually go through with a killing. Being confronted with the cruel realities of death not once, but twice in one day made the neighbors hesitate.

Their individual musings were interrupted by a wall shaking scream. As one, they rushed up the stairs to Anabel’s apartment.

Anabel’s eyes were wide as saucers, her face was streaked with tears and sweat, and her hands trembled as she waved the laser gun wildly around the room.

“God, just leave me ALONE! LEAVE ME ALONE ALL OF YOU!”

The young woman saw someone step forward, slowly and carefully, but could not hear his words. She thought she saw him mouthing calm down, just calm down, but all she could hear now was the voices screaming for her to die and the inner torment and guilt of her neighbors. All lying to her. All lying to themselves. All lying to each other. It was all too much. It had to end. She could no longer bear it.

The laser went neatly through her skull and she crumpled to the floor.

So, it looks like Anabel was a killer? That's what I am reading into it. But was the SK or Mafia?

she was an empath. she was reading everyones suspicions and murderous thoughts as we conspired against her. earlier i thought she might have been the SK (maybe hearing all those thoughts makes her go crazy) but now i dont know. we shall find out soon enough! im excited to see what happens tomorrow and i wish more people would post! POST, DAMNIT! POST! POST! POST!

One thought I had was.

When the rest of the people have murderous lynching intentions it drives her crazy with murderous throughts because she is an empath.

So living in a building with androids that are killing off humans and plotting - would that drive her crazy enough to think everyone else was an android? Is it possible we really got the SK this time?

I'm not sure that Anabel was just reading everyone elses thoughts about lynching her. There seemed to be more to it then that. I may have misread... but Anabel was the one with the gun, meaning she killed herself?



Appearently not.

She could have easily turned that gun on the crowd to protect herself (and her baby), instead she commited suicide, killing not one, but two people... and if she could sacrafice her own baby like that, she definately has more then everyone elses murderous thoughts floating around upstairs...
