Lick a 9V battery? No I'm kidding =D Verileah and I were talking about how surprised we were that some people read the book or watched the movie for Blade Runner in preparation for it. Would y'all do that again?
Examples:
We found the screenplay for 'Monsters due on Maple street', the episode for the Twilight Zones. Aliens vs neighbors.
'Black Company' which was suggested in the Mafia thread can be bought for as little as 1.99 on amazon or I'm sure easily checked out at your local library.
We figure it'll give Verileah time in between Mafia's to prepare and also be a nice way to promote a reading club of sorts. Vote it up!

I read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and watched the movie in preperation for this go around, and I'd do it again. As long as it isn't Harry Potter.

Black Company is a fantasy book, but much darker the most. The good guys are virtueous and holy, and the bad guys typically aren't blatantly sinister for no good reason. It's a little more real. I'm not sure if it would be for everyone or not but I loved it.

I read the book in preparation for this round of Mafia and I was glad that I did. It gave me a much better insight into the world than the movie ever did. Mind you I have seen that movie a half a dozen times.
