I actually always wanted to do something like this when I was in Triadica. This guy really did a beautiful job expressing what was behind the game EverQuest imo.
I'm not going to wax poetic on the server transfer or the slow decline of EQ. The movie was somewhat bittersweet to me, but it's lovely in and of itself and anyone who loved this game would enjoy it :).

Pretty nice, made me smile from memories.
I dont think any other game can quite catch that awe we felt when we first played EQ - like a D&D game brought to life. Even tho the textures were bad and the polys were low, it was still fantastic.
Man I loved that Velious expansion. Just a wonderful game it was then, too bad they ruined it =p
