Phantom Dust on Xbox (not MMORPG though)

Not sure if anyone else bought the game at all, but I'm having a blast with it. Ok, first thing's first, it's definitely not everyone's type of game. Secondly, it's only $20.

Anyways, it's a card game based action game. It draws very strong influence frmo pokemone and magic the gathering in the collecting aspect and the "deck building" aspect. Gracphically, the game looks great. The facial expressions and designs are a bit odd, but the environments are almost fully destructable and actually affect gameplay (you can cave a ceiling in on another player and have them take damage for instance). The music in the game is pretty much carefully chosen classical. Voice acting.. meh.

The single player mode has a pretty good storyline, but the early tutorial levels can get a bit mundane (there's a good couple of hours of training missions). But multiplayer on live is where this game shines. That's where you get to test your customized deck against another players. There's also online exclusive skills that you get by winning a set amount of matches.

Anyways, I think the game is great. It's unique and I can pretty much say I haven't played any other game like it (speaking as a complete package I mean, not just all the elements that make up the game). So if any of you are former Magic the Gathering junkies like I was, go ahead and take a look at the game. Hell, it's only $20
