Beware - Paypal Email Fraud

I received this pretty disturbing email today from "paypal"



Ok I thought - wtf. At first I figured my paypal account was being fux0red with by some particular people, but when I read further and clicked the 'click here to activate your account' it took me to this website:

http://www.adsports.co.kr/.PayPal/index.htm

First, its not a secured site. It doesn't have HTTPS and paypal's link is https://www.paypal.com/

I immediately thought 'bullshit, this is fraud' so I called Paypal and they verified that my account was in good standing and that it wasn't their email. In fact, paypal will address all email to you BY NAME, not 'paypal member or paypal user'. If you receive this type of email, dont give ANY information and open a new web browser and go to their site using the correct link. You can contact them via email or toll free phone number. Send the email to [email][email protected][/email] so they can investigate it further.

Some people suck, I swear. =(
