Lifebringers - unfinished

This was something I started on but never finished. Cleaning up a hidden forum (oooooooooooooh hidden) and didnt want to delete this.

With an air of annoyance, Vebran Flakes sheathed his song blade. A half elf Herald from the Tyranny clan, he stood at the edge of the Plane of Time dial and waited. Within moments his travelling partner appeared. A short, grumpy gnome with a propensity for magic snorted with disdain at the half elf. Vebran picked a nail and did not acknowledge him.

The gnome adjusted his robe and rubbed his hip, 'Seriously man, not all of us have safe fall.'

Vebran flicked his fingernail and turned to look over the gnome. He mumbled, 'She's late.' Then a slender blue finger run down the back of his bald head. He's nudged forward by the figure behind him.

'I'm never late, babe.' The gnome and the bard both looked at the creature in red. Maelarya gently pinched her husband's narrow chin. Draping her arms about the half elf, she winked at him. The gnome rolled his eyes. Looking at the little mage she smiled, 'Hello Mismatik.' He snorted.

Mismatik huffed and asked, 'The others?' Maelarya nodded her head to the left. There stood the iksar brothers Kewar and Keipsaf. Just then a deviled nightmare jumped over the wall of the time portal, kicking up sand. It's rider was a dark elf shadow knight. With a grin he dismounted and whispered away his beast. Vebran watched it rear up and fade away.

Walking swiftly up to them, Kelefane clasped shook Vebran's hand, grabbing up past his wrist at his forearm. He turned and kissed Maelarya on the cheek. She smiled proudly at the dark elf she called cousin. 'Has Pharren returned yet?' he asked.

'Yes he has,' called out a scruffy voice. Climbing down the wall and cupping his pipe, Pharren nodded. Another gnome, Pharren dabbled in the dark arts of necromancy. Suddenly there was a fury of devilish screams.

'They're at it again,' Maelarya laughed as she watched Mismatik's air pet attack Pharren's dead companion. The skeleton hissed, haunched over ready to attack as the air elemental floated, puffing air angrily at the skeleton.
