So i spent yesterday doing simple stuff like making truetype fonts (thanks mae) all happy in linux and getting my scanner and wacom all dialed in. Took some time this morning to play around with everything.

ok, can cc now. made all the changes i wanted to. why didnt i add more detail and shadow? well the base image was super super super fast with no detail. I would have done it all in gimp but I am not that good yet.

I tried some shading for you...would have done more, but GF called. She's puking everywhere :x , and I must leave work to get some meds for her.
P.S. Hope you dont mind me practicing my shading on your drawing. I'm horrible at shading, thouht I'd get some practice in. :)

Looks good rikr, however because of the size doing a lot of detailed shading wasn't worthwhile because of how much is lost in the shrink. The best way to do shading though on images like this is using 2-3 similiar tones to the face and use polygon lassoing areas. Like i would have laso'd much of the left half of the face along the center face line and made that one darker tone. And then lasod a portion under the eyes and made a darker tone their too giving more eyelids. I didnt even put eye lashes on this since i felt they just wouldn't work nicely.
