User registry database is corrupt
I get that notice when I load up now, not sure what happened but I think whatever did happen started with firefox going apeshit on me. I uninstalled and installed the .14 version (was using .13) then Norton took a crap, uninstalled and installed that. In between those 2 errors is when the registry database got corrupt.
How do I fix that?

You will have to run a registry repair tool. CNet has http://www.download.com/Registry-Mechanic/3000-2094_4-10349249.html as the most popular rated and download so use that. I can try installing it on Linux and see how well it works if you need. If your registry doesn't repair you will need to repair your OS or reinstall it completely.

200 registry problems...O_O I'm upgrading to win xp so hopefully that'll fix a lot of the problems. The program did fix 42 of the 200, but wanted me to pay to fix the rest =/ FUCKERS! =D Thanks Steven!

I upgraded to winxp with my old computer which hated it and slowed the hell down. Granted it wasn't as updated as this one now. My father rebuilt and upgraded this one and we put win2k on this, it ran smoother really. We have a copy (sitting next to me in fact) of winxp, I just have to install and call to activate the thing. =(
