my guild on Laughing Skull in WoW uses teamspeak. I have no mic so I mostly listen...it's funny as hell thou when people start swearing during pvp or an instance. There has been talk of switching to Ventrillo thou, I was wondering what you think about it, since you use it.
Oh and had skype for a while, it's pretty nice when you can talk to people in other countries for free.

I have Ventrillo, TeamSpeak, and just recently lost my Skype virginity. If anyone wants to hear my sexy as fook voice, lemme know. Typing ingame sux. I promise to cuss....but only after my shyness on live voice chat goes away.

My FPS buddies all used Battlecom until it sold, then we went to TeamSpeak. and that worked well. Now we use Ventrillo...It works really well..I have no complaints. Sometimes i get a lag spike and people sound roboty for a few sec, but it goes away.
I wish I was in AoT skype...sounded like a lot of fun. I think we could have fun in HoF skype/ventrillo/teamspeak though. :)

I don't have WoW but I've used battlecom and Rogerwilco ages ago. I have ventrilo downloaded but the guild in EQ2 currently just uses yahoo voice chat. :P

i hate yahoo, i tried using it a while ago on an older computer of mine and every time I would load it up it would crash. Made me so mad. That's when I lost my mic...I got so angry I broke it lol. Oops

Ventrilo, IMO is the best Voice over IP software for gaming. Ive used Teamspeak and Vent, and Vent > TS.

Agreed, Ventrilo is better than Rogerwilco and teamspeak for being able to hear even with a large number of people in a chat.

Only time I ever used a v-chat program (because they are for faggots) was to talk it up with my friends Mizen, Nards, Banbin, Yale and others in the greatest chat conference ever. O and don't forget Corky, he liked to chat it up too.

My guild has a dedicated Teamspeak server in WoW. I rarely use it though.
