Song lists
I need some help here. I had accidently reformated my ipod while formatting my harddrive. Thought the damn thing was another partion on the hard drive.
What I need is a good website that gives a good list of songs by year from the 90's. I had the link once, but it got lost earlier this year with another format. It listed the top 100 of songs from each year going back many year, but I'm mostly looking for alternative songs from that time.
God this sucks, my ipod is naked without music.

He must've had like 1800+ songs on it. Seriously he was devasted. The 90's list he's looking for gave him like the top songs per year in the 90's. He can't google/find the list now. =/

If I find any lists like that I'll be sure to let you know! Itunes has some stuff like that but it would cost you a fortune to come up with that many. I can't believe it actually formatted your ipod! Or did it just format your list on your pc?? Cause I THINK if you're ipod is still intact you can drop the songs back into the list on your pc. Course, you may have tried that already. I'd be inclined to call Apple to see if there is anything at all that can be done.

He completely wiped the ipod because he had it hooked up to the computer from the night before and just thought it was a partition. So he completely cleared everything, even the program to run it. I had to take it to the Mac store here in town and have them upload the program again. So yeah, its all gone and he lost the itunes songs on his computer because he didnt back it up =/

This used to be at http://www.billboard.com/charts/ but they removed it like a year ago and only provide searches till like 2002 and are selling the rest of the info. Fuckers.

Yeah I tried Billboard when I was looking for stuff last year and earlier this year.
I had found a nice list, but somehow cannot for the life of me figure out how I found it the first time. I know it listed out several radio stations and their top 100 of the year and they had KROQ's list going back to like the 70's. It was a nice list and I found a ton of songs that I loved back then.
