Summer-Swim - a poem

Bye bye: The end of spring has come and gone,
Days are sunny, nice and sweet, summer not
Rainstorms can be quick, fierce, wet short or long,
And unblocked, the blazing rays can be hot.

I feel my face melting, as my butt hits the seat
Oh, a swimming pool would be an awesome treat
To go diving, wet, splashing around
Underwater the gurgle is the only sound

The gurgle of air bubbles breaking the waves
As my body through the water cleaves
The sun roasting flesh as magnified
Before I get out and begin to air-dry

Coolness, pressure, buoyance and wet
I asked permission, and I'd hope you let
But next door, the pool isn't there
So I'll suffer in summer-heated air.
