Thanks for the screencaps! It really is a pretty game; I like the painterly look of the graphics. Nice to know you don't *have* to fight bad guys in a french maid bikini. I wasn't able to do the beta weekend but I did have a chance to play with character creation a bit. My great big Norn looked a bit odd in that frilly little outfit.

haha yeah. Mesmer is a super fun class, imo it needs some work because the damage is low compared to other utility classes like the guardian.

We have a fully functioning guild rolling over to GW2, I'll post our server once we decide if you guys want to join us. It is Furious Pantaloons - anyone from SolRo should be familiar with that name ;) I play with them in Rift where we are now and the World VS World in GW2 is just like DAOC. About 12 of us are in the beta and we were causing massive chaos in WvW - awesome fun!

Also Krynus, Diison, Blearch, Tremerya/Kaeta (original EQ1 Destiny guild) are in FP so its a very SolRo friendly guild :)

well it IS Furious Pantaloons, the nicest, friendliest and least hate filled guild in the history of Solusek Ro. I don't think they have ever got on anyone's bad side lol.

Destiny was always friendly with them and at a certain point most of their powergame types merged with us in Velious - Shahahadat became one of our officers. Some of my fave Destiny people were FP (Yulin, Bales, Geico) and they love Krynus to death so everytime we start a new MMO sooner or later Krynus runs into someone from FP and Dawnrunner (our most recent incarnation on Rift) ends up merging with FP. Great people, Myrcil was from SolRo and he and his brothers are all members of the Rift and GW2 loon branches.

I had one of her cartoon sigs. It's gone now =( Maybe, I dunno. Maybe it's still on solrorage, not sure. It was bad ass and for my druid Caitlinn =/

my concern is that the DB backup is from such an old version of PHPBB that if I install the latest version it will not work - I will do some testing.

Because I'm the heart of the board and I went afk to move. No, I'm kidding. People come and go - no big. I plan on keeping TAC open forever, with traffic or not, so it'll be here when people wander back =)

There are still whispers of solrorage here on TAC. Days where we completely lost our shit playing a crappy ass game and then went to message boards to further ruin people's days.

Best description ever? Yes, I think so. Not just for solrorage, but Sol Ro in general. Ahh, that is why I loved BB and Circle of Legends so much.
