Well the big thing I see is that the inkwell and the quill appear to be viewed from an angle, but the writing looks like we're looking at it from above. Perhaps try to play with perspective on the writing a bit to make it appear like you're viewing it on a desktop? Or else show the inkwell as you would see it from straight above. Also, for the faded document and the fact that they are using a quill, the text is awfully crisp.. Maybe you could blur it just a tad or play with text effects to give it a more worn, faded look.

gahhh perspective,.. well at this angle I had to create one totally from scratch rather than using a royalty free one and modifying it 
So less realism maybe but overall I agree and it was something I couldn't put my finger on. I also did some text aging, hopefully enough to look good but still readable,.. touched up the guild name too.
