BL sig & magelo

Wow, are you able to take the screenshots yourself because those are horrible. You'd have to totally repaint them. I honestly would not use them.

As for the background, HOH is nice but I'd try one of the newer zones maybe. There's nothing inspiring about HoH =/

For the fonts, I'd toss it up with different types. Go more traditional maybe with crisp clean lines.

Overall, the screenshots really bring the entire thing down. I know they took them and sent them to you, but I'd tell them to retake them or have a friend who has a better video card to retake them because there's no way I'd put my name on a sig that had bad screenshots. =/ Sorry dear.

Yeah not planning on putting my name on them :P I'm hoping he will see it and go "the picture looks horrible" in which case I can say "That's because the screenshots are bad" and he can retake them.

Also I was just going through my screenshots for backgrounds that look "renaissance"-y. Couldn't find anything else. Anyone got a good background that fits the bill?

What Mae said. Plus a little more. The dog is bigger than the man. It doesn't look like a perspective situation where the dog is closer...he just looks bigger. The quality even of the finished product looks kind of bad. Check the resolution and the level of the jpg. Even the text that you put in looks fuzzy. As to needing it to be theatrical...the colours are pretty drab. I see brown and blue...and they all kinda blend together in a fuzzy sorta way.

I'm sorry to say I'm with Mae...this is a pretty clear case of "back to the drawing board". It happens sometimes though, so don't be discouraged. Tell the guy to retake the screenshots and to not mess around with them. Sometimes people think they're doing you a favor by changing it to .jpg or shrinking them for email purposes. They're not. Tell him you need the screenshots in original size and to make sure his toon is right up in front of the camera, taking the ENTIRE space of the screenshot. Anything else is a useless screenshot.

k never mind then :) If he says he doesn't like it but won't take more screenshots, I'll just let him know he needs to find someone who knows how to work with them better.

Not how to work with them better...tell him to find an inferior artist for inferior pic's he gives you. You are far too good to "dumb" your skills down. Tell him poop with sprinkles on top is still poop.

Nope, was a freebie. I almost never get asked to do sigs so I don't get much practice any more :( There's only so many times you can do a sig for your own toon.

Oh well then pfft lol. If you like, feel free to ask people here on tac to do trades, Hijinks. I'm sure people would be up for it, especially if you just want to practice. Check out the character info thread in Ho slappin =)
