Looking for DAZ content

Does anyone have a link to any sites offering free facial textures for Poser or DAZ of different ethnicities for V3? I've checked Renderosity and couldn't find the ethnicity I was looking for.

Also I haven't been able to find the Michael figure for DAZ to download. Not even at the DAZ website. Does anyone know where he's available (preferably as a freebie).

I'm also having a problem installing new content to DAZ. I download the .zip file for whatever it is, then extract all files to C://Program Files/DAZ/Content. Then when I open up DAZ, the files are there, but there's no textures or props or anything for me to use. This happened with about 20 different .zip files last night from various sources, so I'm pretty sure I'm not saving it in the right place or something. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hrmm...off hand, there isn't a lot of different ethnic morphs that I know of. I think daz has some but they're not really freebie I dont think. You could check Daz' forum, I know there's a guy there that did a DAMN good job at rendering himself. Very handsome black gentleman, so I think a lot of people do their own skin tints and facial morphs. I dont know, check the 3D links here in the tac library. There are tons of 3D places to peruse thru. =)

Mike 3 is free on Daz3d.com you just add him to your cart and check out and select paypal for method of payment, no info needed to get him. And for ethnic morphs.. hmm.. Other than just maybe finding a freebie character that fits I don;t know of any. There's really only a couple that I know of, that are available to purchase. And for your skin and ethnic tones, just use the default V3/M3 skin and use one of the tone injections, it simulates it fairly well I think.

Doesn't that require the morphs though?

Anyway.. you could also look into Sara.. she's free and people make a lot of stuff for her in order to keep her that way.

I'm more about trying to make the face look more ethnic - broader cheekbones, broader nose, etc. V3 has an African slider but it doesn't do what I want :( Oh well! I'll make do with what I gots hehe ... will go look for M3 and Sara tho. Thanks for help!

You have to buy the morphs for both M3 and V3 in order to change their faces around like that.

The good thing about the free M3 and V3 is if you have a character pack with morphs and inject it, they work without having to add all of the morphs ahead of time. I was so happy when I discovered that since it cut my file sizes down a ton (I am the add all type when I inject them) =)

I'm having a huge issue installing things that go with DAZ.

I bought the V3 Character morph Pack (PC) today. I hit the "download" button. I saved it to my C drive. I found the file and ran the installer. I had it install to c:/program files/DAZ/studio/content. I then opened DAZ and looked for the new V3 character. It shows me this:

Then if I click on "skip," it tells me:

I tried reinstalling the morph pack to just c:/program files/DAZ and also to just c:/program files/DAZ/studio. Neither one installed this file that I apparently need.

What am I doing wrong? Did it not download correctly, somehow I missed this file? I'm wondering if I need to delete and reinstall DAZ completely, because nothing that I've downloaded is usable right now. No idea what's going on :(

=/ I'm not familiar with daz, but there are a few who are here. I'm sure they'll chime in when they see. But I can't think of why it's doing that. =/
