Gen Con Indy 2005 - what a rush!

First off I would like to thank those of you who previewed my portfolio :)

I ended up being at Gen Con from Thursday at 8am until Saturday at 8pm (with a break each night to drive an hour north and sleep for a few hours LOL) Here's the grand total of what I ended up with:

Companies talked to: 45
Portfolio views: 36
Interviews: 18
Companies adding me to their artist pool: 6 WOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I have already been contacted by one of the companies to start working on a commission for them in early September :D So I'm going to be spending the next couple of weeks finishing up the 3 commissions I have on the books now to get ready!

Now to be fair about my time at Gen Con, I will have to admit that I also took time out to be part of the Kokomo Irregulars (aka Tracy Hickman's Posse) to help kill 325 people at Tracy Hickman's Killer Breakfast! If you were there, I was the one giving people their entry times (down to the seconds) so they could see how long they lived (in seconds) LOL Friday evening, the crew was supposed to take Tracy and Laura out to dinner. It turned into them taking US out to dinner. We spent 3.5 hours going over the Killer Breakfast that year and planning next year's event (which is going to be a BLAST! ). If you ever get a chance to go to Gen Con Indy, I highly recommend at least watching the Killer Breakfast. If nothing else, you'll leave with your sides sore from laughing at what people come up with :)
