Are they continuing where the show left off or are they redoing the storyline of the show?

Continuing where the story left off pretty much. If the boxoffice numbers are as godly as they are hoping they will get another movie contract from Universal and possibly another season from Sci-Fi. Sci-Fi is already running season1 before SG1 on Fridays.

Officially the three-piece comic series by Joss is immediately after ep 13, and the movie's some six weeks after that.
(If i recall.)

Am I the only one who thinks Summer Glau is a horrible name? Summer is so fresh and pretty and flowing and then there's GLAU (I'm pronouncing it GLOHW rhyming with COW which I don't know if it's right) and it just seems a very odd name.

I can't wait for Dragon Con. Some of the cast and crew of Firefly/Serenity are going to be there this year. Not to mention Joss (who was made to cancel) had a special "video" made for the meet and greet.
