Did that texture map size setting help you any? There should be a link laying around here somewhere from awfulsoul.com that tells you some good settings to use for firefly renderings.
Texture Test thingie
I was playing around with the blue jean texture idea. The first of which did not go so well. This is take two after making a different texture and poser crashing on me twice. I did the shirt texture also, was going to think of something witty and then just decided to make a band shirt for Jan's band because witty doesn't work while sleepy.
The clothing is by uzilite - the textures are by me
