Doin' the "Mae" thing...

I think the pose is AWESOME! I think your overall sig is great, but if you want minor nit picking, there are 3 things I noticed.

Hand holding the sword. Lately I've discovered paint overs. Still not great at it but I'm finally understanding some other tools. I'd use the sponge tool on your fingers. You can see the dark purple shadow that you get when the light is directly on your toon. This is why it helps to do it during the norrath day before 3pm, in the open with your gamma jacked up. Sponging with desaturate on will make it gray, basically and you can repaint in the proper color. With your sword, either dodging or desaturating it with the sponge will give it that more metal look. I dodge the section that'll have the sparkle a tad more than the rest to give it that glinting look.

The lightning. It doesn't look random. You could do without it or do the right one at a different spot, with different directional...thingies. You know, something other than another similiar copy of the one of the left. The clouds looks SPECTACULAR. I will pick your brain later.

Her hair. Beautiful golden locks, there. You might want to burn in some strands to give your pony tail more depth, a little on your bangs too. It'll give it a more swooshy feeling on the pony tail as well. I'm sure typei might have more on that, she's better at hair than I am.

I love it girl, its a huge huge leap in skills. You can so tell. :thumbsup
