James & Jessie

First Attempt at semi-photorealism :) hehe

It looks really good and I like the black and white effect

Her hand looks like its floating there and not around his arm, it needs some shadows around it at the very least or better some of the fabric over her fingets to show she's holding on to him.

The Koz hair you've used on Jesse looks fuzzy, on Koz's site there is a tip for rendering it if you get that problem.

Its under the downloads section.

There is a tiny little bent in place on his neck just above his collar. I think his neck looks long but I think that's probably the way he's leaned over looking at her. His shoulders look a little slumped which adds to that.

The background and the light coming through all the glass is awesome.

very nice.. but for me the first thing to jump out at me as not 'real' is her eyes. I'm not sure what it is about them, maybe need more of a blink to them, something just seems lifeless in them. It's the bane of Poser IMO, the eyes. And the shoulders..

/agree with what's been said - but I think their skin comes across kind of plastic looking. Did you put a bump map on their skin?

Him yes, her no. Don't have any for Jessie yet.

Jessi's default bump map can be found in c:\program files\curious labs\poser 6\runtime\textures\poser 6 textures\jessi

I think it looks great. My only observation is that her hand seems too large against his arm, considering she only comes up to his shoulder.

I was going to say the same thing. I like the whole thing, but her hand seems disproportionately large. :)
