Pool Girl - a poem

You entered wearing shirt black and shorts brown
On a lounge chair you set your towel down
I watched as from your legs the shorts you did strip
Pulled your hair from your shirt with a little flip

I didn't see much from the darkness behind
And I assure you the dimness I didn't mind
Your curves were soft and highlighted round
I caught myself staring as you turned around

Your hair was trimmed short, to your neck it did curl
Playfully with a lock your finger did swirl
You moved from the spectator's row over to the pool
And said to me, "Tell me, is the water very cool?"

Into the hottub with grace you did slink
And under the roiling heat your body did sink
I waited a few minutes finished my laps
Figured you earned much attention from well-meaning chaps

We chatted very briefly, I tried not to stare
At your magnificent smile and bikini that almost wasn't there
The hour was late; we were joined by a male third
I thought, "did you really have to want to swim, you turd?"

I decided my attentions were not well received
And figured it was better to just get out and leave
I sluiced water from my arms legs and chest
Took up shirt and towel and headed for my rest.
