They dont have dvr yet here in AK but they have TIVO but veb refuses to pay the monthly. =(

I like to record everything we watch, but I'm still setting things up since we switched from satellite to cable, so a new system to learn and program which sucks! But after over a year I'm spoiled, and I despise commercials! Desperate Housewives, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and CSI, Grey's Anatomy, House, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Naruto... I am missing some *sigh*

no not atriel

but we have in demand on our cable too and its doesnt include major networks. Alot of cable stations have it, from cartoon network to home and garden etc etc but they dont always put shows in a series like set up. Now for the movie channels its great esp for HBO if u watch the series on there. They also have movies but the movie channels play the movies so much its not a huge benefit. Also, at least on our cable there is no Starz InDemand which is the best movie channel for actual movies.

Debbie Travis' House of Paint..i tried setting that up to record but in order to not have a million episodes and duplicates you have to set it to "first showing only" and then you hardly ever get a show to record =(

I never watched this much tv before we got DVR a couple years ago. Mostly because I would start watching a series then miss a couple episodes and be lost and would just say screw it, now i dont have to worry about it. I have noticed missing stuff only watching shows I have recorded and never watching commercials. Basically stuff like new movies coming up I never hear about cuz I never watch a commercial. But I love my DVR and wouldnt ever give it up.
