i suck with text...... i cant get shadows or anything cool... cc ffr plz

I would suggest removing the face in the shield. It looks out of place to me. Also I would do something different with the blue glowing ball thing. Im not sure what. Lemme kick a few ideas around ( Maybe that planet thing Maelarya did ). You know you might even try it without the shield completely...adjust the levels on that side of the background and then the text would pop out a bit more.....but that's just an idea to "try". The model and pose are done very well. I like the background you chose as well.

You might want to try that tutorial. You can change the colors just by adjusting the hues. Or do Rikr's suggestion and have her holding a glowing planet. I agree with Rikr on getting rid of the shield altogether. The face in the shield is distracting (and a little scary :teehee) but it's a nice layout overall.

That's the one Roz...Try that planet thing, and adjust the hue like Mae said. I think you will like the effect you can get with this. :)

She looks nice, the expression and the dress look good. Spell effects kick my butt from time to time and its hard to find good tutorials on them. Making the planet sphere is a good suggestion. Another that might add a little something to it would be to duplicate your spell layer and then add a lighting effect to it with the colour of you spell so that it sheds some glow on your figure's face and skin. You could add a quick touch up to this by just adding a little white glow in the center of the ball making it look sort of white cold like ice fading into the blue.

I'm afraid I agree about the face in the shield though the shield itself might look good behind the magelo boxes, do you have a link to your magelo we can see?

Yeah, what they said . The face on the shield scares me =( If you want to fade the face I would suggest move it kinda behind her to the left or something .
