OMG HP4!

Saw the movie last night! I had prescreening tickets

:wizard FANTASTIC!

I wont say much more than this: Enjoy it for what it is.

Don't disect the movie apart and compare it to the book, what was left out, what extra was put in, what changes were made, etc. The book was 734 pages long. To be true to the book 100%, the movie would have had to be like 5 hours long.

It's a film ADAPTATION. Appreciate it as such. If you're one of those people who will say "Heeeey, in the book Hermione's dress robes were BLUE ..." don't go see this movie (or at least don't come talk about it here because I'll kill you).

I'll be seeing it again on Friday at the IMAX. YIPPEE!

Make friends with someone who works at a bookstore. I don't know about other cities, but the big booksellers always seem to get the free tickets here. I've seen 3 free pre-screenings in the past 6 weeks alone.

('Domino' and 'Pride & Predjudice' were both excellent, BTW)

Not really. It was just a coincidence that both of those movies were to be in theaters close to the same time and there were prescreening tickets to be had.
