help! ive got a wicked virus. it get 30-40 pop ups MEGA slow computer time, some blue screens and general lock ups.

wtf virus is this?

when i do cntrl alt del i see about 6 webhost-v2.exe
and 5 nnspyggin.exe's!

i get lmited internet access. sometime it lets me sometimes NOPE.

i cleaned ourt my c drive and windows folder where i found a ton of files it put there. they were like this : bjgsdftrwergiewgfrey23hgydasfe.exe

swear to god!

found a john.exe or sumptin too.

do i have to reformat like my friend says? what else can i do. spyware/virus scanner doesnt pick up anything.

if i were you, i'd reformat.

ok, rephrase, if a computer had that many viruses, i'd reformat.

i dont let my stuff get that dirty :p

i'm pretty computer not pay attentiony. I dont download much but recently my email has been getting emails from someone who has the knowledge of how to pretend to be my website.

im getting emails from [email][email protected][/email] about my password being changed and ect. of course im the admin =p but doteasy said nothing they can do but monitor it. so i suposse i got it from those cuz it didnt start until after they came. I didnt open any attachments but doteasy did have me open the emails.

sigh. what a pita.

all doteasy said was that it was someone who may have targeted me or did it in mass. and just to watch the headers and you'll see its really not from yourself..... that they have some program to dupe you.

they didnt help at all. =/

I don't use doteasy anymore, but I had this happen before, then it stopped. It started back up again. My email filters them all out anyway but still, the staff email gets like 500 a week. =/

I just upgraded to winxp last night. My computer needed a good reformat and it loads SO much faster now. I have a problem, which I will be posting a new thread about =x
