You Ignored Me - a poem

You've ignored my every advance
Spurned my every single try
So when you prepare this song and dance
About being single, you start to cry

Your message says "I need hugs" when away
And I can only offer virtual types of those
Every time I asked or tried to say
You virtually punched me in the nose.

My motives are omnipresent, honest and clear
Really I don't have any that are ulterior
So listen when I tell you, my dear
Your communication skills are inferior.

Only so many times I allowed myself to ask
For with each answer came laugh or silence
And I no longer wish myself this task
I don't think we'd make good friends.
