Favorite movie...EVER!

Aliens - Theatrical release (best sequel EVER) The directions cut was stupid and James Cameron had it right with the original release. 17 minutes of crap, I tell you.

The Usual Suspects - I did not see that coming. Youre lying if you did! Who is Keyzer Soze?

Clue - Based on the mystery game. Who killed Mr. Boddy?

Event Horizon - I have no idea why I love scary movies. I totally watch them thru my fingers.

The Ring - I can't even let this run in the background while i'm on the computer. I get the heebie jeebies every time I watch it and I've only sat down to watch it fully twice. Its the bits and pieces that you catch on hbo that scare the hell out of me!

Stir of Echos - Saw it fully twice. That's it. LOVE IT, but can't watch it again. :-o

Newer movies have been ok...Resident Evil, Aliens 4 but I tend to watch the old ones over and over again. =)

#2 Aliens: I'm with Roz on this one and Vasquez was cool :D

#3 Terminator 2: Because the Future never looked so bleak before ;) (i also liked it better than T1 & T3)

Oh, and don't ask me what made me think of this just now, but "Searching for Bobby Fisher"(sp) was a good movie that was off the radar a bit.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

when all is said and done, the only one of the series worth watching over and over!!

And also screaming at inappropriate times.

"Would you like fries with that?"

one of my ex boyfriends had never seen any of the Star Trek movies, so we did a movie marathon over two weekends - i will never forget his reaction to the little old lady in teh hospital (The Voyage Home, modern day San Fran) saying "Dr gave me a pill, I grew a new kidney" over and over. i had to stop the movie for 5 minutes while he rolled on the floor crying, he was laughing so hard. *men*

*Slovman blinks and raises an eyebrow.

Of all the lines to laugh at in that movie, I'd think that would rank near the bottom. "Double dumbass on you," on the other hand, is comedy GOLD!

300 just made one of my top picks. OMFG that movie rocks.

Boondock Saints is my alltime fav however. =)

My favorite movie of all time is definitely Saving Private Ryan. That flick moves me.

Most of my all-time favorites aren't nearly so serious, though. The Fifth Element comes to mind, as does Raiders of the Lost Arc. Any of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, or the first three Star Wars movies. Oh, and The Princess Bride, of course.

But yeah. Top fave ever: Saving Private Ryan.
