Not sure about everyone else, but my excuse is finals (tis finals week and accounting is kicking my butt)

We don't know what has happened yet. Though I don't feel the evidence was very strong against Emeraude. Quick witted does not equal smart ass, and even if it did there are much smarter asses running about. Her main themes were quidditch and the tense relationship with the father. I didn't really see the alcohol reference in her bio. Unless you are simply using the stereotype that Irish tend to be drunkards. She is a prefect, but that is kind of a tenuous chain built on the Student Services trophy being acquired while Tom was prefect.

Another reason to think Briare was mafia: one of the mafia in the first scene says "excellent". Of course, that could be the mods diction coming through.

Well, if I am hit by the mafia my next best guesses are
Jerele: Mother was a giant, Eating and favorite foods listed (both in kill 4), Sleeping (see kill 5) Charms (teachers are under a spell)
Blake: Green eyes, Transfig mentioned twice, aloof, obsessed with wands, 2 sandwiches (going back to Grawp being hungry)
Raven: Birds? Green eyes, blonde, multiple wands, green inked quills
Elise: Beater, toads, transfig
Egon: multiple wands, Arithmancy, Owls


That's one too many, if I was right about Poppy and Briare. Hmmm.


Someone mentioned music as a clue and Thaddeus and someone with a singer mother being suspects. But I'm not seeing the music clues, at least from a read of scenes 5, 1, and 2. But very few of us don't have a couple of clues against us. We're getting fewer profiles to review, but more kill scenes. Hah, just saw that the mother is a soap opera actress, and not a singer at all. Some people are counting on you to be lazy, folks.

Read the first paragraph in the last mafia hit - there is your prefect clue. It's huge.

Also I know the sheriff and her ID came back positive.

So you're saying the sheriff is still alive? What did happen to the Sheriff? The consensus was that it was Angelica and she was the day 1 lynch, so she never would have had a chance to get an ID.

P.S. The first paragraph, about the teachers being under spells, is certainly born out in the day 5 lynch, with McGonegall being all dingy. Wish I had the energy at the moment to highlight how many of my latest and greatest have charms as a specialty. I'm really thinking that Jerele is the front runner.

The first paragraph depicts the exact duties of a prefect, and notes their lacking compared to the students safety. THere is only one prefect bio left.

This is on topp of the numorous "clumsy" clues, the other clues others ahve pointed out, and the fact that her ID came back as "mafia".

I don't see how someone else is the frontrunner. Your posts lately have been extremely deflective which I find interesting.

When is the hit posted?

I am not sure what happened but Veri says it was a long story. I send my stuff to her because I'm up really late and won't be up in time to post it, either that or it would get posted around 4 or 5 am before I go to bed. (I'd rather she get a chance to look over my stuff though :X)
