Well in the books Snape always threatened to make Trevor, Nevile's toad drink Nevile's potions in order to see the effects of them. If Trevor was about in the classroom I guess a cat could be.
Perhaps try a dark background for this one? black or grey maybe.

Started out with the girl (Raven) and her cat , named Claw.. donnno.. I like the idea but the cat in potions class didnt really go or maybe it did I donno I'll go back and mess with it again anyways in progress ...

I agree with Mai, might wanna try a darker background for that dungeon ;) One thing I wanna mention because I did notice it on the other Skygames piece as well. Make sure when you put your render onto the background that you do the Remove white matte. If that gives you funkiness, try the Defringe set to 1 pixel. Sometimes that works better, I just experiment.

ok will try the darker border then maybe a different style as well.
I knew I forgot to take out the white mat butput in jpg before I realized it lol... the skygames on I took off the mat but the damn broom still looks pixely .. might have somthing to do with the water color effect added to it too heh

and well .. I was working with some paint brushes and then tried the tubes I had for the cat since I dont have the kitty figure (yet) that why it didnt really go with the [icture =( Maybe I'll save up and get the Mil cat or w/e *cry*
