Hogwarts Mafia Round 6 Mafia Hit

/ooc This is Veri, posting on behalf of Mai. Sorry this is so late...it's a long story involving a lot of very insane people and I'm sure you're not interested :). If you guys need more time to vote we'll cross that bridge when we come to it (Mai, it looks like I'll be home in time after all, or at least very close to it :)).

:: Hogwarts :: Quidditch Pitch :: Mafia and Raven ::

Raven flew around the Quidditch pitch despite the horribly chilly weather. It was something to do that got her outside and away from the oppressive atmosphere that haunted the halls of the school. Everything had changed so fast; it had been so peaceful the first day or so of the holidays and then the deaths started happening.

None of it made any sense, several children even died in the main hall! The professors did not seem alarmed by the events taking place; it was as if they were somewhere else and not really here at all. It was becoming far too cold for her to stay out here any longer, and though she had come to enjoy the freedom Hogwarts had offered her, she was now wishing for her school back home in France, it was safe and so its slightly warmer weather seeming almost balmy and by comparison.

Raven sighed and trudged towards the bleachers where she had laid her backpack but stopped when she heard voices.

"Well we've got to do something to get Malfoy and the others into the school quick. The enchantment they had managed to place on the few teachers here is bound to wear off soon."

"Or the other teachers will come back and notice something different about them."

"I've been looking into things and I think I've got a plan."

"Oh? Well I do hope its better than turning them all into rats."

"That actually worked on the Trelawny boy you know."

"Yeah but now they'd be suspicious of new pets, now wouldn't they?"

"What about... What was that?"

The blonde girl had tried to hold still but the mention of the rats made her gasp. Had they planned to turn everyone into rats? How horrid! Evil English! They could have at least come up with something more dignified like... like a swan or well she didn't know but something less rodent like and more cute would have been preferred.

The group of murderous little shits had stopped speaking and she knew she was in trouble.

"Merde!" Raven grabbed up her backpack and turned to leave as quietly as possible.

"Not so fast there, Miss Nosey. I don't think we can let you leave."

The others nodded in solemn agreement..after all what was one more death in the scheme of things?

One of the group said something and gave a smart flick of their wand and pointed it towards Raven's broom. The blonde was so startled when it moved that she dropped it. The broom then began to dance a bit, hopping around the French student in a display of talent and creativity.

"Quit fooling around and get on with it. We've got work to do."

"Since when did you become a spoilsport?" The one controlling the broom then shrugged and drew a circle in the air causing the broom to flip upside down and headed straight for the Gryffindor.

"Maudit balai!" she shrieked and started to run. Her own broom followed after her beating her over the head continuously until the little French girl moved no more.

OOC: I thought to be evil and send people towards their dictionaries again today but since its the weekend and all.. I'll give those that don't speak French a break.

Merde - probably the most recognizable French curse word around... it means shit.

Maudit - basically it means cursed or damned.
