Red 3Dconnect theme - WIP

Took me about 15 renders to get the freaking lighting right, but there's no postwork on this and since I can't work on it right now, any and all c/c would be great.

Jinheim and Vex gave me some good c/c. Unbending her arm and making her top more flowy. The strings of her undies are floating, that bugs me.

Maybe not having her left leg turned in quite so much...it hurts me to look at it, though I guess she's just way more flexible than I. And I still think smaller boobs would work better proportionately, but then that's just my taste.

Agneta's morph is what I use for Ellis, but my earlier pieces of her had the normal body because I just could NOT figure out how to get those boobies into Veronica Year 3's leather outfit.

I almost never do big boobies, that's why I thought I'd go with this one. Especially since I got her boobs in the top :teehee But yeah that's more preference. That pose is extreme, that's why I cut a lot of it out.

When I compare the two pics by alt tabing between them, the second one's right b00bie gets an extra shadow or something over it. The first one has a more sheer effect on that b00bie's side of the shirt. Is the shirt supposed to be sheer? It also looks like the shirt is hovering about half an inch above her skin, I am not even close to knowing about 3d stuff to know if its supposed to do that or if you can make the fabric look more like its "on her" than above.

Hair looks hawt, face looks hawt. Pose looks difficult but not impossible and very "centrefold" . I like it alot hun.

Nothing technical jumps out at me hon. Personal pref, I'd have to retexture the top or at least paint over it in post to match the color of her hair more. It's not horrible, just her hair is this bright gorgeous red, and the top is a shade of red leaning more towards purplish. Not to say that wouldn't happen in day to day dressing, but since the theme is Red, I'd try to match those up more. :)

go to mat room , disconnect diffuse_color node and make the color red. then set transparency to like .5 or so. it'll make it fully red and sheer =)
ROzbeans 20 years ago
I tried using this satin red freebie mat i found at rdna. Is that the same thing as just going in and changing the diffuse color?
Vex 20 years ago
nah the satin mat works nice too. i've used it a bit.

I like the texture you used. I think the red vinyl is going to be overdone on that theme so its good to see something non shiny for something different.

(I haven't seen the theme yet so if someone used red vinyl, I apologize ahead of time. =X )
