You know what I think that is really cool.
Military men and women should have a few luxuries. They are, after all, protecting our freedoms.
Sign of the Times - new Warship includes iPod chargers

SHIP BUILDERS of the Royal Navy’s deadliest and most expensive warship HMS Daring have slipped in iPod charging ports into the design. Apparently when you re all at sea with a 7,350 tonne, 14 deck destroyer worth £605 million of taxpayer dosh, the last thing you want to happen is for your sailors to run out of juice for their MP3 players.
According to the Times, The Daring is also equipped with new Principal Anti-Air Missile System, which can trace and destroy hostile objects as small a cricket ball travelling at three times the speed of sound. Probably to deal with Australian spin ballers, which are a bit of a problem at sea.
The ship was the first to be completely designed on a computer. The crew will also have a CD player, internet access, five channel recreational audio and larger berths.
