Sketching stuff.
Well... I got a scanner for my birthday, yay. :) So here's a sketch from last week or so, and I could use some help in figuring out how to shade it better. I guess i can doodle reliably, but when it comes to doing anything more detailed I'm pretty much at a loss. :) So any constructive criticism is welcome. I had intended to color it in PS but I'm still learning how to do that, too. :P

Well that's an awesome horse figure...most people really don't get proportions of horses right...though its probably easier for you. :D Looks really cool

very nice! shay's right ~ horsey proportions are a bitch.
as far as shading, the only thing i can suggest is to determine your lightsource and kinda work from there. look at photos of horses to see how the muscles are shaded ~ that's a big help!
