Suggestions?

My only real problem is time.... I would suggest stretching out the time lengths so that people can RP more.

I feel if people RP more they would enjoy the game a bit more. I know it’s not mandatory but perhaps a simple sentence or two at the murder scene should be mandatory to vote. I am just as guilty in this situation I, for the lack of a better phrase, SUCK ASS at writing.
I have great ideas but they seem to lose coherency from brain to hand to pen to paper.

Another reason for the time length extension would give thick headed people (like me) more time to figure stuff out. This would also give the smarter people (everyone but me) time to coax votes or mislead people.

at any rate... I feel the mods and stories are top notch!! I will continue to play even if I must stumble around in the dark.

I agree with Ashmore...a little more time in between kills might be good. I didn't get to play long this time (one day! *cries*) But I will continue to play, and taking things at a slower pace may help me learn more as well...(I still have to include 'may' in my sentence )

I like the faster pace more - after a day if I have to wait I start losing the thread of what I'm doing. It's like gogogogogogoreadreadreadpostpostpostvotevotevotewaitwaitwait - if I get past 3 waits I lose it - I can only clue search and post so much on any given death scene. I think the fast pace holds people better.

As far as roleplaying I don't think it would be good to make it mandatory because alot of people that play (myself included) don't play it for the roleplay but for the mind fucks - while alot of others play mainly for the roleplay. Either way to force one way or the other would be to make it alot less fun for about half of your player base while keeping it neutral and optional keeps people only semi ready to rip each others throats out.

Combination of RP + mindfucks FTW! I like it kinky that way thankyouverymuch! I like the pace it's at now. I love it when we get the sk and mafia hits both in the same day. So juicy!

I'm enjoying the game as is... for me it's the mind game. I get confused and start chasing my tail trying to figure out wtf... I love it.

i missed the mafia! last game was good. but i do remember the Xmen mafia, everyone seemed to rp in it without question. That was fun.

then you could really mindfuck people, cuz it cause people to think if what your saying is more clue dropping or not and they get all confused and wee!

but rp or not i like em.

Maybe we could do one where RP is a must, but not make them mandatory. See how that goes?

I think the game is great in it's current form and the only changes should be considering pacing, number of each type of char, and perhaps new ideas for new unique char types - not forcing RP.

I think an RP game once in a great while would be fun. Like you said, Tim, it wouldn't be a permanent change, just a special game. I doubt seriously any of the other mafia mods would ever want to force anything on anyone and neither would i. I'd co-mod an RP game though.

Well a special game occasionally can't really hurt anything - those that don't want to don't have to and those that do may have a blast

Hey mods! I know you have done sci-fi movies in the past and fantasy relms and what not... Have you tried a theme set to a comdey movie such as "Caddyshack" or "Ghostbusters"?
I saw you did HHGTG... did that work out pretty well?

Some comedy has been done (and I think Cup O' Mafia fell under the comedy range), though very little by me personally because I am not a funny person (Cup O' Mafia was all Mai for the funny). The HGttG game was quite well done and further proof that we have mods much more able than me in that capacity .

Billie does kick ass sci fi like 'Blade Runner' and hopefully 'The Stand' - which isn't quite sci fi but still very kick ass =D

HHGTG mafia was great. Ghostbusters mafia would be fun too I think

Criminal minds... Good show and sounds like it would be a very interesting change in the movie if they found out it was one of there own cops...
um i usally come up with some right off the top of my head and latly i have like totaly forgot about the mafia school has been driving me crazy latly.

How about a pageant theme like Miss America or an American Idol mafia? Something where the competition is supposed to be friendly but you got beauty queens offing each other?
