Yeah I saw that this morning on the Today show. Oh but it's just a log, we're not listening in.
It's not paranoia when they are out to get you....and fuck your civil liberties up the ass.
Go Go Big Brother
Just one more reason the Patriot Act should have never been passed...

Yeah, for real. Me and a friend of mine used to screw around talking in arabic on the phone. We'd be sure to throw in all the catch phrases, too like jihad and allahu akbar. Suprised I never saw any unmarked vans parked down the street.

Considering the source and thier motivation I would not bother. The sad thing is that there was a little ILLEGAL wire tap program going on in the 90's named Eschelon that was on 60 minutes that clearly violated our rights that was burried by the drive by media. Go take a look for yourself. They were spying on senators ect ect ect. Oh I forgot Slick Willy is the second coming. It's entertaining to watch the media slam Bush for things they turned a blind eye to when Clintax was in office. Not that I love Bush I just hate the blatant liberal slant in the media.

Seems to me like this would be not only an invasion of the privacy of us regular folk, but also an unnecessary one. I know if I were a terrorist, I'd be too smart to discuss details of my various activities on a land line and would instead use one of those "pay as you go disposable" cell phones.

True, and somewhat irrelevant.
