Oh, wow. I was just reading stuff about E3 and they said that Sony announced a date and price for the PS3. $499 and $599 depending on the gigabytes you get. Unless this thing has a joystick that doubles as a, well JOY stick :P not thinking I'd shell out that kind of dough. Anyone else?

Well considering that the PS3 is supposed to play Blu-Ray discs and from glancing reading that I've done the first Blu-Ray players were supposed to come in at the cheapest around 800 bucks. This would make the PS3 a good price deal really if Blu-Ray takes off.

when I have my dual 21" widescreen LCD monitors, a new vid card and the house decorated to my desires we can talk about it... I can't see spending that much on a game console, that's as much as a freaking new computer!!!!!! I mean.. *sputters* are they insane?

If anything we'll wait until they start selling used ones. Typically we'll trade one system in for another, saving on cost but sheesh this is way too expensive.

Id have to start sellin a lot of commissions + get a lot of stuff for the studio before I would plunk down that much.
