Oh my god, how have I lived without this thing? I got it thru my cable company and i must have like 15 hrs already saved up. It's a god send, especially this weekend being Law and Order: CI and CSI marathons.

I like my PVR even though I never use it. Records to my PC for permanent ownership instead of the box for temporary!

Well with my cable company it's 5 bucks for a box, an additional 5 box if you want the dvr, so it's the package plus 10 typically. All I'm paying is 5 bucks more for the better box.
That's the usual price through any cable company. Comcast was the same way.
