Sure you can. I believe that's the chrome effect on thewebmachine.com At least that's what i use, more specifically the 'blue steel' one. I'm trying to find something different though, but the webmachine has TONS.

I honestly cant remember now if that was webmachine or messing with the bevel / curve stuff....I do know I did it a few times to the font, selecting all of the font and contracting and re-running filter....then burned the lower half of the text.....then hue / sat. Ill try to remember how I did it.

I've found that with a lot of my art, it is a lot of "Happy Little Accidents"...Thanks for the quote Bob Ross. :) I did try to re work it...it did not turn out exactly like the other, however its pretty close. I'll post a how two in a few. :)

Ok so I got my text looking a little bit like Rikr's but it's still missing some shine. Any ideas?

Shine is all about the beveling and changing the depth of the bevel along with the little box where you adjust how jagged the edge is...if i had a copy of PS in front of me I could tell you what that box is called. Guess that makes this entire post unhelpful lol
