SETI

I talked to Roz yesterday, but wanted to pass this along to all. I am sure that you are all aware of the SETI screensaver program. Well, they have upgraded it, and it's pretty cool. I have made a team, and if anyone wants to join, they can go to the link below and it will automatically put you on my team. I think it's pretty cool, so I hope I can get some of you involved!

I discontinued using SETI on my four personal home and the 12+ office computers I had it installed on, after they moved to the BOINC application. I found it to be a cumbersome memoryhog that would sit idle for days on end because there weren't enough work units to process.

I had over 10k units to my name under the old processing program.

I have it on three of my computers and haven't noticed and memory problems, and my systems aren't really outstanding. I guess time will tell, but it's just something for me to do and read to pass the time until I die.
